Tonight sees ECC join the SEAL army of the TGW tournament during Battle 5 of the 7th Campaign. The previous 4th Battle saw the WOLF army win both the played Titan maps, while just narrowly losing out on a single conquest map. Therefore, ECC squad members will have to be at the top of their game if they are to influence the conflict in SEAL's favour.
This evenings battle will be played out across four custom / modified maps which, for those who have not as yet downloaded / tried them, can be accessed from Chus' post here. Downloading the .rar files allows you to extract the levels straight into your '\mods\bf2142\Levels\' directory. Then eager players can take a look at the maps through creating a local game or test them on TGW's server.
Good luck goes out to the ECC squad for their first foray into this tournament; subsequent to the match we will hopefully have a review of the 5th battle's outcome.

After an almost unanimous decision last Tuesday night at the clan meeting, ECC are proud to announce that we will be entering a 6 man squad in the 2142 tournament organised by Tournament Gaming World.
Playing in 64 player battles, over many custom maps, as part of either the SEAL (PAC) or WOLF (EU) armies the TGW tournament looks to introduce a higher level of team-work and squad play to the 2142 gaming experience. For those clan members who haven't as yet completed all the sign up shenanigans, take a gander at Cutchy's posts here and here. ECC's first contribution in the tournament will be next Sunday (the 23rd) being hopefully the first of many.
In other news, the 'My Rig's better than yours...' discussion seemed to spark some interest (all be it not many pics!) with the winners [ECC] H3adl3ss and [ECC] Miss Peachy taking the plaudits for the 'Most Special PC' and 'Most Excessive Monitor' respectively! Congrats both; look out for a PM soon regarding a slightly different prize.
Finally, a quick competition for all interested with this weird little flash game (don't worry about audio). Whoever posts the longest time wins!
