Battlefield 2412 is that latest installment of the battlefield franchise from EA. This time you have a choice of EU (European Union) or PAC (Pan Asian Coalition) in a future theme battle. Again there is infantry themed maps such as Camp Gibralter and Cerebre Landing as well as armour maps like Fall of Berlin and Belgrade. Titan mode is also a new addition to the game types where each team has there own titan and has to attack and defend missile silos in order to take down the enemies titan shield which when done allows you to board it and destroy consoles then finally the reactor core to win the round. With this game mode it makes for some hectic titan attacks and defense this makes great use of the many new weapons and vehicles that has been added. Battle Walkers are the main new vehicles think transformers with guns and you are not far wrong. You still have the tanks,apcs and buggies they have just been given a future make over with the floaty tank taking some time to master. Choppers are also there and seem easier to fly than there BF2 counterparts. We still have the ranking and awards system that make the BF franchise so popular overall this is a great insight as to what war in the future could be like and a definate for any serious gamers collection.
